annapurna yojana beneficiary list:West Bengal government introduced a new scheme Annapurna Bhandar on 1 June 2026 to replace the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme which is running since 2021.Under this scheme, the eligible women between 25 and 60 years will get Rs 3,000 per month directly in their bank account under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system linked with Aadhaar.

The West Bengal (WB) Government launched the Annapurna Yojana, also known as Annapurna Bhandar Scheme, on 3 June 2026. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive ₹3,000 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This scheme aims to empower women and enhance financial stability for families across the state.

In the first phase of this scheme, beneficiaries will start receiving ₹3,000 rupees directly into their bank accounts from 3 June 2026. It is estimated that around two crore women will benefit from this scheme. As of the 3 June 2026, the government reported the first DBT amount will be deposited into the accounts of 28,25,769 beneficiaries. The beneficiaries’ list will be updated every seven days.

What Is the West Bengal Annapurna Yojana?

The Annapurna Yojana was officially notified on May 19th by the Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

The scheme offers a flat financial assistance of Rs. 3,000 every month (Rs. 36,000 annually) to eligible women aged 25 to 60 years. The money is transferred directly into beneficiaries’ Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through the DBT system.

Annapurna Bhandar Instalment Date

The Annapurna Yojana West Bengal provides ₹3,000 every month to eligible women through DBT. The government has provided two instalments under the scheme, which are as follows:

The second instalment disbursement of Annapurna Yojana was officially announced at a programme held at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata. With the second instalment, the scheme’s beneficiary coverage increased from 28.25 lakh women in June 2026 to over 1 crore women within a month.

Will Lakshmir Bandhar Scheme Beneficiaries Get Annapurna Bhandar Benefits?

All existing Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme beneficiaries will be migrated to the Annapurna Yojana, except the following:

  • Dead, shifted, deleted and absentee electors identified during SIR 2026 
  • Deletion in the second list after publication of draft list 
  • Deleted after adjudication 
  • Those marked as ASDD (Absent, Shifted, Dead, or Duplicate) found during voter slip distribution

However, individuals whose names have been deleted from the voter rolls during the Special Summary Revision (SIR) process, but who have applied for citizenship under the CAA and have pending cases before tribunals will continue to receive scheme benefits.

Annapurna Bhandar Application Form

The application form is available on the scheme’s official portal or from Nabanna from 27 May 2026. The government has given 90 days time from 27 May 2026 to complete the enrolment process for this scheme.  

How to Download the Annapurna Yojana Application Form?

Online Process

Step 1: Log in to the official Social Registry West Bengal portal

Step 2: You can download the form in EnglishBengali or Hindi.

Step 3: Fill out all the required details on the form and submit it to the local block development office, municipal or Panchayat office

Offline Process

You can get the Annapurna Yojana form from your local block, municipal or Panchayat office. MLAs will also help beneficiaries to fill the forms, while teams under Block Development Officers (BDO) will go door-to-door to assist applicants. The government will also organise a “Janakalyan Shibir” across the state from June 15 to 17, where applicants can submit their Annapurna Yojana application forms.

How to Check Annapurna Bhandar Yojana Beneficiariy List?

The West Bengal government will publish the beneficiary list at the block, panchayat, and booth levels. Citizens can raise objections if ineligible names appear. Eligible applicants who have been left out can reapply to this scheme. The beneficiary lists are finalised based on the recommendations from the respective Sub-Divisional Officers, BDOs, and municipal authorities.

How to Check Annapurna Yojana Beneficiary Status

Applicants can check the status of their application online by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official West Bengal Social Security portal.
Step 2: Click on ‘Track Application’ or ‘Application Status’.
Step 3: Enter your Application Reference Number or registered mobile number.
Step 4: Complete the OTP or CAPTCHA verification.
Step 5: Your application status will appear as Pending, Approved, Rejected, or Beneficiary Active.
Fresh applicants can also register through the designated state social registry portal.
