Mamata Yojana online registration|Mamata Yojana payment status|Mamata Yojana beneficiary list:Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the doubling of maternity benefit from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 under Mamata, a State-specific scheme for pregnant women and lactating mothers.All eligible beneficiaries will receive the enhanced amount retrospectively from August 2023, with the outstanding sums to be paid between February 20 and 25.

In accordance with the new Mamata scheme, the assistance will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s account in two instalments. While the first instalment of ₹6,000 will be provided after six months of pregnancy, the second instalment of ₹4,000 will be made available after the baby is 10 months old.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has decided to double the cash benefits under the Mamata Scheme. Currently, under Mamata Yojana, pregnant women are being provided Rs 5,000 in 2 instalments.According to the Chief Minister’s new decision, pregnant women will get Rs 10,000 in assistance. All eligible beneficiaries will get this enhanced amount from August 2023. The outstanding amount will be available to the beneficiaries between the 20th and 25th of this February.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the ‘Mamata Yojana’ in 2011 to reduce maternal & child mortality and malnutrition. The Mamata Yojana is very popular and has been adopted as a model at the national level.In the Mamata Yojana, the amount of assistance will be directly disbursed to the beneficiary’s bank account in 2 instalments. In the first instalment after 6 months of pregnancy, Rs. 6,000 and in the second instalment after ten months, Rs. 4,000 will be provided.

Objective of Odisha Mamta Yojana

The main objective of Odisha Mamata Yojana is to provide financial incentives to pregnant and lactating mothers so as to reduce maternal and infant mortality and improve health and nutritional status. With the help of this financial assistance the woman can get maternal and child care services especially antenatal care, postnatal care, and immunization. Through this scheme, women will get partial wage compensation in the form of financial assistance so that they can rest adequately while pregnant and after delivery

All pregnant women above 19 years of age can get this assistance for 2 children. It has been decided that the women of 13 Scheduled Tribes will be given maternity allowance for each pregnancy.It is worth noting that during the district visit of 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V. Karthik Pandian, women proposed to increase this assistance cash amount. Today, the Chief Minister increased the amount of assistance under the Mamata scheme.
