Mo Bus Card Scheme Apply Online:The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) launched a new and upgraded Mo Bus mobile app and a card scheme.The app will have several commuter-friendly features such as live bus tracking, estimated time of arrival, realtime bus occupancy, online ticketing and pass purchase, etc., officials said.
Unveiling the app, development commissioner and CRUT chairperson Anu Garg said, “The new improved app will ensure ease of travel and enable commuters to know live arrival time of their bus and see realtime bus occupancy. This will help citizens plan their travel accordingly.
Mo Bus Card Scheme
On the latest development front, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) introduced a cutting-edge mobile app for Mo Bus alongside a novel scheme for Mo Bus cards.The introduction of the new Mo Bus card and mobile app aims to enhance digital payment options and ensure seamless travel for commuters in Odisha.Commuters can tap their Mo Bus card on the ticketing machine with the guide (conductor) to receive their ticket instantly.This convenient payment method eliminates the hassle of dealing with change and outstanding dues.
The CRUT MO BUS app is available on Android and IOS. Commuters can find the cheapest and fastest trip options, including all bus route options to their destination. One can also buy a mobile bus pass directly through the app.To further facilitate cashless transaction, Garg also announced a special offer for Tap and Pay Mo Bus card. “A commuter will get 40 per cent extra on top up of Rs 500 and 50 per cent extra on top up of Rs 1,000 excluding the cost of the card (Rs 50),” she said.
CRUT officials said this is a limited offer and will be valid for a month starting March 1. The offer will be valid in the capital region as well as Rourkela.

Where to get the Mo Bus Card?
To ensure that passengers can easily obtain the Mo Bus card, CRUT has implemented various options for acquiring it.
Commuters can purchase the card directly from the conductors on the buses or from a slew of designated locations such as the Master Canteen bus terminal and CRUT office in Patia, Bhubaneswar.
In Rourkela, the cards are available at the Mo Bus counter in the Rourkela bus stand, while in Cuttack, they can be obtained at CNBT.
Additionally, CRUT will set up kiosks across the Capital Region and Rourkela for the convenience of commuters.
