Nabin Odisha Magic Card 2024:In a new initiative, the Odisha government will launch the “Nabin Odisha Magic Card”, a points-based smart card that will engage and empower the youth, enabling them to move forward and create a platform to achieve their dreams, on March 5.The online registration portal for this card will be launched on March 5, 2024. The distribution of the card will be on August 15.
This card will be a “Passport to Prosperity.” Based on points earned through various activities and parameters, the cards will be upgraded to Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. The cards will be allotted and upgraded based on the performance of students in terms of attendance, discipline, academic performance, participation in extracurricular activities, sports, online courses, personality development courses, etc.” stated the Odisha government release.

The state cabinet government in a meeting on the 12th of February decided to provide Nua-O Magic Smart Cards to students which will help them in their skill development and other things. All Eligible students will receive the Nabin Odisha Magic Card by August. According to Pandian, the cards would offer individuals advantages like free Wi-Fi, online course access, skill development, coaching programmes etc.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a scholarship program designed for higher education students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses on February 26. Known as the ‘Nutana Unnata Abhilasha Odisha’ scheme, its objective is to empower the youth of the state and support their educational pursuits, according to officials.While Patnaik launched the scheme through video-conference, senior official VK Pandian joined the programme in Sambalpur, Angul and Deogarh.
