What is the selection process?
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will be conducting the shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination individually. Each RRB will follow a ratio of 1:1 corresponding to the vacancies available. The selection process will be based on the candidates’ merit in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
The marks obtained in the CBT will be normalized across multiple shifts. Successful candidates for DV will receive notifications through the official RRB websites, as well as SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email ID. They will be prompted to download their E-call letters for the DV session. It is important to note that there will be negative marking in the CBT, with 1/3rd of the marks deducted for every incorrect answer.
RRB Technician Eligibility 2024

- Matriculation/SSLC plus completion of a Course Apprenticeship in related trades.
