MahaVidarbha Janjagaran, an organization promoting the Vidarbha statehood cause, has questioned the credentials of companies which will be part of the Namo Maharojgar Melava to be organized by the government next weekend. Members of the organization alleged that the job fair is merely a political stunt ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.Nitin Ronghe, coordinator of MahaVidarbha Janjagaran, addressed the media on Friday and questioned why details of the companies are not being shared.

These companies which are going to be part of the job fair, do we have any details about them? We would love to know how many are registered and with which authority, which state are they from and what type of jobs will be available toyouths from Vidarbha,” Ronghe said.
He added that all these questions will go unanswered. “That is because it’s a political stunt. Youth of Vidarbha are being shown a carrot before polls but it won’t materialize. It’s basically a event than a job generation source,” said Ronghe.
