The AP Input Subsidy Beneficiary List is being released as per the CM’s promise to disburse compensation for the crop loss to the affected farmers by the end of the same season itself. With the aid of Rs 1,294.58 crore to be disbursed on Wednesday, the YSRC government has so far provided Rs 3,262 crore to 34.41 lakh farmers, who suffered crop loss in the past 57 months.

Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday will release financial assistance to the tune of 1,294.58 crore towards the ‘AP Input Subsidy Beneficiary List’ to farmers who lost their crops due to Michaung cyclone. About 11,59,126 farmers who lost their crops would receive the input subsidy.
The state govt has been following a principle of releasing the input subsidy to farmers in the very same season since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became the chief minister.The govt has so far spent 3,262 crore towards input subsidy, extending benefit to about 34.41 lakh farmers. “This is an unprecedented initiative of chief minister Jagan to provide immediate relief to farmers by disbursing compensation for crop loss by the end of the season itself for losses due to natural calamities,” said agriculture minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy.
The chief minister will visit Prakasam district on Wednesday to dedicate Veligonda project to people. He will reach Eguva Cherlopalli village in Dornala mandal and unveil the pylon to mark the completion of tunnel works of the project. He will later review project works from the viewpoint and inspect tunnel two.

The CM is also planning to release funds to the farmers under zero interest scheme towards investment support. The government had been extending financial support to the farmers through the zero-interest scheme. The government had paid close to Rs 1800 crore to the farmers in the last three years towards input subsidy and the money is paid in the same season when the crop is damaged.
The farmers who have suffered losses in any season are being compensated in the same season. Farmers were reminded that they have suffered due to soil erosion and sand dunes. 542 crore to 5,97,311 farmers as input subsidy Rs 1,220 to a farmer group under AP Input Subsidy Beneficiary List.
