PPP Haryana:Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra Card?

In Haryana, an innovative programme known as the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra, or Haryana PPP Family ID, has been introduced. This distinct Family ID card serves as a valuable resource for families, enabling them to access various government schemes seamlessly.

The HPPP, or Haryana PPP, is a significant document launched by the government to enhance staff management across all districts in the state. Beyond administrative purposes, this Family ID plays a vital role in improving citizens’ quality of life and facilitating their access to a wide range of governmental schemes and services.

PPP Haryana

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched a PPP Haryana unique identity card — called Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) — through which the state government aims to monitor each of the approximately 54 lakh families living across the state. Under this, each family will be considered a single unit and allotted a 8-digit unique identification number.

In order to avail the benefits of social security schemes of the state government, it is mandatory for each family to register themselves on the Parivar Pehchan Patra portal(PPP Haryana). Also, the government has made it mandatory for employees to go for this PPP, failing which their salaries may also be withheld.

Haryana PPP scheme: Objective

The primary objective of this scheme is to help the government schemes and services reach the masses who need them. It is estimated that this scheme will benefit 5.4 million (54 lakhs) families in the state. This scheme also helps the state government in the collection of family data in the state and better plan their schemes. An individual can also benefit from this kind of data collection of their family.

The transparency factor of the scheme will benefit the Haryana government in overlooking the delivery of the several government-provided schemes and services and can help in controlling corruption.

Family ID Enrollment Criteria In Haryana

Under the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme, families are granted either a temporary or permanent Family ID based on their residential status. The enrollment criteria for families are as follows:

  • Temporary Family: Families living outside Haryana but seeking to avail of any service or scheme provided by the state must also register for the PPP. For such families, a 9-digit temporary family ID will be assigned, with the ID number commencing with the letter ‘T.’ This temporary ID enables them to access state services and benefits while residing outside Haryana.
